Speaking of Dragon*Con 2013, I Will be There

Dragon*Con
Dragon*Con
Yes, I am returning to Dragon*Con this year. My only scheduled panel is for the Tolkien fan track but I’ll also be supporting Legend of the Seeker fans.

My Tolkien panel is titled “Middle-earth and Hogwarts” and is on the schedule for 4PM Saturday in L401 – L403 – Marriott. Sounds like a fairly big venue. I’ll have to wear a nice shirt.

You can find out information about the Tolkien and Middle-earth fan track here: http://middleearth.dragoncon.org/.

Everyone knows I love J.R.R. Tolkien and Middle-earth but I’m a HUGE fan of the Harry Potter books and movies. I’m really looking forward to being there. I have no idea of what the panel will actually cover as it sounds like a free-form discussion. Should be LOTS of fun.

And speaking of LOTS, there is a Legend of the Seeker fan meetup on Friday at 4PM. Here is the information I have:

Friday, Aug 30, 4pm, Marriott M302 – Track Room

LOTS fans have also organized a fan table. I’ll be visiting the fan table throughout the weekend and have even volunteered to sit there for a couple of hours. You can check out the fan table schedule here on Google Docs.

I’m not the organizer for any of these activities. I’m just there to be my usual lovable self and to meet other science fiction and fantasy fans. I hope to see you there.

For more LOTS-specific information, check out this blog post and watch the Save the Seeker blog on WordPress.com and follow the @SeekerFans account on Twitter and follow the Dragon*Con 2013 discussion at the Seeker and Confessor Society‘s forum. Don’t say I didn’t give anyone links, because I did. 🙂
