The Xenite.Org community has been bringing fans together since March 1997. When we moved our forums to SF-FANDOM in 2001, we believed we would be able to keep them free of flames, required registration, and paid memberships. So far, we have managed to achieve all three goals.
Nonetheless, the server we operate off of costs over $100 a month to lease, and though we have relied upon sales commissions to help offset those costs through the years, we rarely actually earn enough to break even. Xenite.Org has never turned a profit, though it would be nice if it could get far enough ahead that we could budget a year's worth of expenses in advance. Be that as it may, neither Xenite.Org nor SF-FANDOM would be here without you, our fellow fans, who browse our forums every day, read our news feeds and essays, click on those advertising links we carry, and volunteer to help oversee our dicussion groups or provide content. We strive to provide you with a rich experience. But if you would like to help in another way (and many of you have said you do), then we gladly accept your donations through PayPal. Thank you for being there for us through all the years. We could not have come this far without you. Nor would we want to go any further on our own. You make the effort worthwhile.
