TV Guide's 25 Sexiest Women of Sci-Fi
It seems like a couple times a year we get one of these lists from a blog, magazine, or television show. I'm not sure how old this one is, but I caught it on TV Guide Channel earlier this afternoon. Not a bad list, actually, it does a good job of mixing old and new. So here's the list, along with the character(s) and show(s) they were associated with. Curiously, they chose to group Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt together as Catwoman at #11.

That's as good a list as you'll ever find. We all have our favorites that didn't make it...but that's an awfully good list.

Yep. Personally I'd have Vicky Pratt and Marina Sirtis in there as opposed to some of the Heroes/Lost folks, but as you say, it's a matter of personal favorites. |

Re: TV Guide's 25 Sexiest Women of Sci-Fi
Interesting list.
Like Boomstick said I would have added some from Cleo 2525 (Vicky Pratt) and STTNG (Marina Sirtis and Gates M.). (Maybe Moonlight (Sophia M.) and Birds of Prey (Ashley Scott).) Would Alias fall under scifi? Then I would add: Jennifer Garner, Lena Olin and Mia M. But the main one I would have added would have been Summer Glau from TSCC as Cameron.

Oh, and by the way, if this list has one serious shortcoming, it's that it doesn't include Diana Rigg as Emma Peel (The Avengers). I mean, come on, TV Guide! She was beautiful to begin with, and some of those outfits they'd get her into would still be quite outrageous by today's television standards!
And beyond being just sexy, she was widely regarded by adversaries as being more dangerous than her male counterpart John Steed! ![]() |

Re: TV Guide's 25 Sexiest Women of Sci-Fi
Vicky Pratt, Morena Baccarin, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Garner, and Terry Farrell would've made good additions. However, there's little need to argue. It is a fine manifest of scifi pulchritude.
So say we all!!!!
