Hobbit Movie News site updated and redesigned
Xenite.Org launched the first continually updated Lord of the Rings movie news site in early 1998. We've been running on autopilot for a few years because interest in the movies had died off. But as the new Hobbit movies approach it has become imperative that the old movie news site be updated and upgraded.
Accordingly, we have redesigned and relaunched the old site as Xenite.Org's Hobbit Movie News. The site now has three primary sections (and several archives for older content). You can now read: Hobbit Movies News Guillermo Del Toro News Tolkien News Each section has its own archive of daily headlines so you can browse older stories. I am hoping to expand the site further and add more useful features over the coming year.

So the archives never worked as expected. I was finally able to rebuild them this month and they are now collecting daily news snapshots for posterity.
People are welcome to browse the archives here: Xenite.Org features the Web's oldest continually updated Lord of the Rings and Tolkien news source.
