Gina Torres on Vampire Diaries (the only series in existence she *hasn't* guested on)

Unsure when this will air, but she's set to appear in the 10th ep, playing a character named Bree, a former associate of Ian Somerhalder's evil brother character Damon. "Being a bit of a witch, Bree possibly holds the key to the more sinister Salvatore brother acquiring something he desperately wants – access to a tomb."

Apparently her role on Flash Forward may be a recurring one too (in addition to Gossip Girl) as she plays the wife of Courtney B. Vance’s character, and he's a regular.

Episode 10 has already aired; I've got it waiting, just have to find time to watch it.

I also saw Gina last week on an episode of 'Pushing Daisies'.

Well I just saw episode 10 and there was no Gina.

Edit: pfft. I just read some 'spoiler' articles that say Gina will be around in (or after) episode 12 which will air after the hiatus. So we'll have to wait until January 14

She will apparently be back in the 11th episode, "Bloodlines," which will air on Th. 1/21.

In the aftermath of the horrific car accident, Elena is attacked by the individual she hit and the following evening, wakes up by the side of the road... transformed into a vampire. As Elena emotionally and physically struggles to come to terms with her new existence, and a possible real future with Stefan, he sets out to find who turned Elena. Meanwhile, Damon learns about a spell that could free Katheryn from her tomb with the help of a newly arrived witch. Upon resurrection, Damon and his old love go on a rampage through Mistic Falls killing dozens of people, while the townspeople mistakenly think that Elena is responsible for the carnage.
