Jolene Blalock's First Episode Airs Next Weekend

Jolene Blalock's first guest spot on Legend of the Seeker will premier next weekend, January 23 and 24. WGN has it Saturday the 23rd at 5:00 pm (following a rerun of 2.07 "Light" before it at 4:00 pm).

The preview for next week's episode shows her, and then the narrator specifically says "guest starring Star Trek Enterprise's Jolene Blalock" at the end!

It's "Dark" times for the Seeker's gang when Zedd (Bruce Spence) has to name a new Seeker due to Richard's absence. Meanwhile, Richard works with the Sisters of Light in an attempt to learn how to use his wizardly power. However, the beautiful and mysterious Sister Nicci (Star Trek's Jolene Blalock) exposes a shocking secret that forces Richard (Craig Horner) into a dark alliance. And you know that can't be a good thing.

I just believe that the plot that Sister Nicci has strategized, and in the end executed, all of this is because of the passion of her own intentions, and I think that sometimes we can lose focus of the bigger picture when we are blinded by the passions of our own intentions."

For Blalock, Sister Nicci is different from any other character she's played that ended up being the "bad guy." "It's very well calculated," she said. "So I don't think I've ever played a character that has been quite so calculated, and even saying that sounds sinister. But I mean that it's just well planned."

I think there was a football game that ran over, because everything got bumped back. By the time I check back again, the episode was well underway, so I decided just to catch the rerun on WGN next weekend.
