Interesting.

I also find trailers to often be much, much better in portraying the story of the movie than the movie itself. Movies are so long, with all that messy dialogue and scenery. Trailers bring it to you now, in a personalized container of scene-flashery and sound-bitiness. No need to follow the intricacies or convolutions of character depth.

I do, however, miss the voice overs from the 80s. So sad to lack narration.

Never heard of these books. The official site doesn't mention anything about a movie. Nor does the author's blog.

Nonetheless, it does seem there is a trailer for a movie. It looks like it might be trying to appeal to adults as well as kids. I'm not sure.
