Bali winged lion god vs lotr balrog
This is lion god that is often portrayed in hindu mythology as reincarnation of Vishnu. It has the same name as african demon in south africa and the demon in the LOTR.

Are you saying the lion god and the African demon are also named "balrogs"? I couldn't find that. What was this "same name" to which you referred?

I think the mythical Balinese god referred to is called Barong, and is the King of Spirits.
Don't know about any possible African demon connections or correlations.
