X-Play: Star Trek Online doesn't live up to potential

G4 TV's X-Play reviewed the new MMO Star Trek Online a few weeks back, turning in a final verdict of 3/5.

Presenter Morgan Webb claims the game is solid overall, but doesn't feel like Star Trek. I wasn't surprised to hear that. Having followed the development of the game it all looked fairly watered down to me, as though they were afraid to make it too "Trekkie," so that it wouldn't appeal to anyone but the fans.
