Not always a good thing, ya know. Too much sunshine can kill! And no one should stare you directly in the eyes!

Indeed. Being all powerful can have it's problems.

Re: **The Bloom Room** (14th April 2009)

Just wanted to slip in here and give a big hello to everyone! I know it's been a while since I been around, alot going on around here but I'm back!
We are trying to settle into the Colorado lifestyle as best we can. It's been 2 years and we are still working on it but it will have to be put off since we are both unemployed at this time.
But the kid is back in school after summer break so at least there are few small blessings out there!

I have been able to catch up on my movies-at the 2 dollar theater, lol...I have seen Public Enemies, Year One, Monsters vs. Aliens, X-men Origins, Taking of Pelham 123 and several others. Despite being out of work and fairly broke, there is always 2 bucks for a movie. I have been able to see GI Joe, but I watched that online off of the same site I have used for a while now, I also watched the new Harry Potter film that way and I watched G-Force that way to. Granted some of the downloads are hard to watch and the sound isnt that great but, for the most part I am able to watch and understand the entire film.

We spent our summer trying to go camping and trying to stay afloat. Good thing camping doesnt cost much AND...you dont have to drive very far to get away from it all around here. 30 minutes and you are there, where ever there is for you.
Dont forget, Estes Park is also not all that far from here and if you recall...that famous Hotel is there!!! You know..."The Stanely Hotel"? You know...the one that's in that Jack Nicholson film, "The Shining"?
It was also recently featured on an episode of "Ghost Hunters" which airs on Sci-Fi channel and they came to the conclusion that the place is haunted! LOL.
I have personally NEVER actually gone TO the hotel but we have driven by it several times.

Sooooo- that's what's happening here. Hope all is well with everyone!

Re: **The Bloom Room** (14th April 2009)

Hello all!

How's everyone doing?

So, haven't really done an update on my thrilling life lately. hmmmm, I've been sick in bed this past week with the flu. It's lame but oh well, I have a lot of sick hours to cash in at work so that's a bonus (if you'd call that a bonus).

I'll have to say that movies coming out this year have been kinda lame. There have been a couple of gems but nothing spectacular. Here's hoping my blockbuster favourites Eclipse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (1) satisfy my needs.

Ooh, so I reading some old Bloom Room posts and there was one where RR and I were discussing an Angel themed teen romance. Well I found one the other week and read it, it's called 'Fallen' by Lauren Kate. It's quite intriguing though the lead is a bit of a ditz (one of those good intentions but does the wrong thing types).

Current television marathon is 'Supernatural', I've done about 4 seasons this week while I'm on "bed rest"

Well I hope you'll are good. Drop us a line please!

Re: **The Bloom Room** (14th April 2009)

Hey!

Am in Sydney Australia at the moment.

Just had lunch with one of our fearless leaders aka Stripe.

Had a great time . . . we ate some good food, I got some good stories, and a walk around.

Most amusing part would be Stripe testing her seasickness and we strolled out onto the ferry wharf. Her face paled and we quickly went back onto sturdy land again.

Anyway, thanks Stripe. Prayers for your Dad too
