- Performances by Science Fiction and Fantasy-themed bands
- Renaissance Festivals
- Science Fiction and Fantasy Stage Plays
- Community activities with science fiction and fantasy themes
- Educational seminars and conferences with science fiction and fantasy themes
- Special Library and Educational programs (speakers, kid activities, etc.) devoted to science fiction and fantasy topics
