I know this is an old topic to resurrect, but if you're truly, sincerely asking... the reason for "Black Lives Matter" is because, sadly, black people are being disproportionally killed in situations where white people have merely been arrested. It's a plea to not be murdered by law enforcement. If "all lives" truly mattered, why are they being targeted for the smallest of infractions and dealt with in the most brutal manner? A white person gets pulled over for a broken tail light and is given a warning or at most a ticket. A black person pulled over for a broken tail light has their car searched and worse. Black parents have to teach their children how to survive being stopped by police. Do white people need to do this?
There is a long history of this and only the last few years where people have cameras in their phones and the mindfulness to use them are these incidents being caught in the act. Black people have been pleading for decades that something needs to be done. Kaepernick takes a knee and his message is dismissed and twisted into "disrespect for the flag and troops bla bla bla". This has built up to a boiling point and can no longer be swept under the carpet.
As for the rights of the unborn... I could go on about the hypocrisy of the anti-abortion movement but that is another discussion for another day. The same people crying the evils of abortion are the same ones screaming to defund and abolish Planned Parenthood, services that help single mothers, and free school lunches. "Don't touch that baby in the womb but don't you dare support them once they're out of it! That's communism!" Ugh.
