Hello Kind Folks,
I just thought I'd drop in and announce a new section of the Website since "Witch World" fans are always looking for new info.
I found a (new to me) Polish website about Andre and her Works. And a small part of it (30 pages) is being archived at Andre-Norton.com
A literal copy of the
Encyclopedia of Witch World pages within the website
Andrenorton.pl written in Polish by Polish readers. Each page is made of 2 columns, the column on the left is English and the column on the right is the original Polish language page. This is done because the English translation is not really in alphabetical order and can be somewhat confusing. The translation is straight from Google/Translate and no attempt has been made to correct for proper English.
It started as a copy of the
Glossary of Witch World by Michael Martinez and was expanded in a major way by Grzegorz Kepa specifically for the Polish reader. Therefore a few entries are repeated from the Glossary. They are identified by the Item Listing being in Black, not
Blue.
Grzegorz Kepa did a heck of a job putting this list together. It lists many characters, places and things not covered in other works I have collected over the years. It gives definition to many things called out in Juanita Coulson's Index and is a great addition for those researching "Witch World". I only wish I had found it before I put together "The Sorcerer's Conspectus" for to incorporate it now is not something I would want to try.
