Andre Norton ForumI've been rather busy of late |

Posted by Michael Martinez on December 09, 1997 at 21:28:22: Redesigning the Web sites for Xenite.Org, although most of the changes are not visible. Hopefully the search engines will give these message boards and other sites better rankings now, and hence greater visibility to fans of Norton and Tolkien who are looking for web-based discussion boards. The bookstore has been expanded and I'm working on a giftshop as well. And the main index for Xenite.Org has been completely redone to be more attractive and professional looking. Eventually I hope to get back to more discussion but I thought I'd let people know why I seemed to have dropped off the face of the Earth the last week or two. Richard Frahm tells me that Locus is late. We're hoping to see the first of three advertisements there for this message board (I purchased three months' worth). Those of you who have listed Web sites here may benefit from my search engine submissions, as I let them index these message boards completely. Perhaps I shouldn't, but I want to make it easy for Norton fans to find us. I may eventually submit this board to the Internet Link Exchange. I'm waiting to see how effective my banner ads are for the Xenite.Org Domain and the Bookstore, first, before I go crazy and submit all the web sites. :) In a few days there will also probably be a Xenite.Org News page. Haven't quite figured out how to do that, or if I should. Michael
