Posted by Ed McLuckie on March 02, 1998 at 23:13:23: Having already read all the current postings, I read all of the archives and in reference to the subject "is anyone out there" I decided to post something. I have been lurking for only a month or so and do not yet own my own computer. I share one with a good friend and if anyone chooses to E-mail me it may show up under my address or more likely under trophymn. I saw several comments about not really having that much to say and I have felt that way. I am a long time fan of Andre Norton ever since I was in elementary school, as I mentioned in the article I wrote ,about Andre Norton which appeared in "Firsts" magazine in October of l996. Although I enjoy almost every Norton title I read I don't have a great memory for all of the details of what I read. Several years ago, I was reading "Sorceress of the Witch World", while driving down the road -bad habit- and I yelled out loud with excitement when Simon and Jaelithe returned to the scene, thinking they were already history and we would'nt be seeing them again. On the subject of the Witch World , before writing Warding of Witch World, yes she did go back and re-read the novels to refresh her memory of times, events, and sequences. On the subject of the Juanita C. compendium is there any new update since last September??? I only have about four websites bookmarked as favorites on this computer and you can bet this is the first one I check out everyday.. Thanks for a great site and all the hard work that goes into making it happen. |
