Posted by Irene Harrison on March 23, 1998 at 08:27:49: I asked TOR's representative (at Lunacon) when the Andre Norton and Eluki bes Shahar(aka Rosemary Edgehill) book; A HEART FOR EVERY FATE will be published. The official date is February 1999, and will probably be by Andre Norton and Rosemary Edgehill. HOWEVER, I also spoke to Eluki. She says the book is still sitting on Jim Frenkel's desk. When he will send her the re-write requests is unknown. She's trying to hold the 3 months that she'll need for the re-writes. She was also surprised that the book had an expected publication date. (Cynical is perhaps a better description.) In the publication world, this is known as slippage (a book having an announced date, and then having that date 'slip').
