Like Irene Harrison I have been collecting anything with Andre Norton's name on it for about sixty (60) years. I think I started with STAND TO HORSE in Grade School a long time ago. At the time the King Tut exhibition came to the United States, I took a trip to see Egypt and its wonderful antiquities. One thing tho, I really wanted - the Egyptian edition in Arabic of SHADOW HAWK which Egyptian President Nasser had published in that country because he felt it would help establish a sense of national identity. Well, I went to the Street of the Booksellers in old Cairo and searched the many small stores without luck until I turned up a battered, dirty, much read copy. The bookstore proprieter told me that copies were handed from student to student to read and few survived as they usually fell apart. But I had my treasure or so I thought. I mailed it off via the Egyptian post to myself but it never arrived. Now does someone have a copy of the Egyptian edition of SHADPW HAWK? Richard Frahm
