: : It's OK to put the entire book cover on the web as long as the publisher is : : 2) includes all of the cover text, and tries to include the artist name

: >>>:0) Ok, so all I have to do now is get the Artist's name for every cover image that is on my site - Any helpers with that?

I think that all you really have to do is make a reasonable effort to find the information. Some of them are listed in the books (usually TP verso), others are almost instantly recognizable by something in the style or a logo in every painting (Jeff Jones, Michael Whelan, Jack Gaughan, Ken Barr, for example).

Of course, you could always just ask the publishers.

One thing I have noticed, however: with some publishers the dust jacket of the hardcover will have the artist's name in the notes, usually on the back flap, where the paperback -- with the same cover picture -- does not give you any clue.

I'll look at your cover gallery and let you know if I recognize any of them.

: : So.....I am sorry for the people that I yelled at. Looks like it's OK to do.

Me too... Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa!

Respectfully,
