There are people who sell facsimilie reproductions of book dust jackets. I've been know to make them for cost - but I always make just the front cover & spine.

If the cover you are getting is truely a first edition cover (and I have a book that I'd like to cover), please check the points and condition. I suggest sending me a direct E-mail with the title & I'll send you the "stuff" I've got on the cover. This includes the cover price and what books are reviewed on back jacket and back flap. Then you contact the dealer and ask for condition. Library labels? Cut corners? Tears, rips, wear marks? and confirm that they have a first edition jacket.

A few years ago a local dealer was selling a stack of jackets & Just on principle, I bought all of the Norton ones, for about $2-5 each. Then I carefully went through the stack and determined which were first edition jackets. Later another dealer bought them from me, but I only sold him the first edition jackets. [J&J Books = Jack & Jean Gonsalvas].

I've still got those old edition jackets laying around: ANDROID AT ARMS; SHADOW HAWK.
