My entire trip to Andre's House took 36 hours from my local airport to my local airport. I had a 6:30 AM Saturday flight(meaning I had to drop my car off at 5:15 AM) and returned a 6:30 PM a day later.
I picked up a rental car in Nashville, TN, and then had only a half hour drive south. I spent the afternoon and evening with Andre Norton & Rose Wolf, and several of the cats. I then spent the night at the Quality Inn. I went to the High Hallack library for some of Sunday morning, and met several other E-mail people, and then back to the airport to turn in my car within the 24 hour period.
This was a birthday present to myself. The hardest part was getting up the courage to ask for an invitation.
