Posted by The Administrators on September 05, 1999 at 16:26:56: Dear Andre Norton fans, We are pleased to announce that we have finally found the disk space to make all existing archives available on the Web once again. To do this we have created a secondary domain that the Andre Norton Message Board will soon link to directly. We currently have a mirror page of the archives index available at the regular archive index URL. You should be able to seemlessly switch from message board to archives and back again. Unfortunately, we have had to disable the archive search utility for the time being. We hope to restore a search capability within a few weeks, but that eventuality is not yet certain. You may also be interested to know that the early messages from the now defunct Witch World Message Board have been modifed to indicate they are from the Andre Norton Message Board (with the correct URL), and that Michael's old email addresses have been updated to Michael@xenite.org as all his messages now show. We hope this new archive will bring many hours of pleasure to new visitors and help people rediscover old threads long thought lost. There are some missing messages, however, which were lost during a hacker attack earlier this year. We have no way of recovering those messages, but most of the board's past discussions are now available. Thank you for your support and participation in the Andre Norton Message Board.
