: So the book is 'out'. : ***** : The senses series isn't a series as much as it is a set of books written on a common theme. : I found that each book has it's own world and characters. : In each book the people are 'human' though probably not living on Earth. : My favorite is SCENT OF MAGIC, though I enjoyed MIRROR OF DESTINY and HANDS OF LYR. I didn't like WIND IN THE STONE as much as the others, because I felt it took way to long to set up the final characters - and I didn't have time to 'care' about them. [I purchased a Pre-publication edition of the book which is due out in November.] Paul here-MIRROR OF DESTINY is my favorite, then SCENT OF MAGIC and then HANDS OF LYR. Haven't gotten WIND IN THE STONE yet, so I cannot comment on it yet. Don't know why I didn't like "HANDS" as much as the others, but then I do not have a tendency to analyze my feelings about books. Maybe it was just the mood I was in while reading "HANDS" or other external factors, but it just didn't transport me. Maybe I should give it another try. MIRROR OF DESTINY, on the other hand, just blew me away sort of like Dorothy's cyclone. Took me weeks to come down. Could not get into another book for a while. And thanks for reminding me about WIND IN THE STONE and ECHOES IN TIME. I have been procrastinating (as usual) and have as yet to etch the title tiles for the Moon Of Three Rings mobile at High Hallack.
