: How about Rutger Hauer? He's the guy from the movie about "Sara Plain & Tall" ? Perfect, he even matches some of the cover art. : : : Jaelithe : : She's always described as rather plain. Dark hair & grey eyes. Stockard Channing? Katherine Mulroo (sp?-Star Treck Voyager). : I was thinking of Michelle Pfeiffer (sp), on the strength of her Isabeau (sp?) in LadyHawke. Michelle Pfeiffer would be very good - in her dark hair mode. : : : Loyse of Verlaine : : The young woman who was 'Wednesday' in the Adams Family movie (Christina Ricci). I believe that she fits the description when her hair is not died. Actually Christina is almost to pretty, but with her coloring & blond hair, she'd work. : Can't picture her, so I can't comment. What's her name....the girl in Beetelguese. : : : Koris of Gorm : : Actually any short body builder guy, and a good camera angle could pull it off. For a movie allowing Koris to have normal length arms would be fine. : How about putting a young Robert Redford's head on Arnold Schwarzenegger's body? Or would that be too tall? I don't know of any really short body-builders, but I'm sure one could be found. Actually Arnold is around the right height - or at least build. You could probably put any actor, or the right height, into one of those superman laytex forms to bulk them up. This would be made easier by the fact that everyone wears CLOTHING in the Witch world books, except for heavy labor & injuries. My problem with Arnold is the accent. If I was casting, I would expect only the non-native to have a different accent & that would be Simon.
