Seabees are combat engineers and construction crews, which is why AN chose them to be building a secret base on a remote island. I believe their motto goes something like this, "..the improbable we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

Additionally, the term G.I., (G.I. means Government Issue and is slowly leaving the American lexicon) actually referred to all of the military regardless of service. Matt
