While I haven't seen the $1 copy of "the Rogue", I have seen a surprising number of copies of that and OCTAGON MAGIC come on the block lately. I have also noticed that the prices vary widely. Just remember - a copy in dust jacket, with no Library markings for either of those books is worth, easily $125 or more. The X-library for either, probably $20-50, and the paperbacks should be in the $10-20. I'm not sure how truely "rare" the books are, but they don't seem to come up on the web often. The problem for the dealers is that there is no price guide, and they look like standard children's books (and the Rogue is a bit to preachy for my tastes). [Now I wish that I had held onto that 'extra' copy of ROGUE REYNARD that I found several years ago on the shelves of one of my "sunday drive" book store visits. I think I sold that for $25 in trade to a SF shop, who promptly marked it at $75. I did check and my local Used book store no longer has the copy of OCTAGON MAGIC that sat on their shelves for several years, overpriced at $70. - Well it seemed overpriced to me.]
