Ms. Norton hasn't been going to any cons the last few years, because of her knees, etc. I know she has done some book signings up in Murfreesboro, TN; if you're willing to drive that far, you could ask Irene when the next one is. As an alternative, perhaps you could mail her some bookplates [including return postage!] for her to sign for you. A laid-in signature isn't "the same", but it's definitely better than nothing and could be accomplished with minimal bother to both parties. Ms. Norton's address was posted a few messages back by Irene Harrison; you could always write and ask, if you're interested. Irene Harrison [co-author of the *really* definitive Norton bibliography, in its 2nd printing from NESFA & resident Norton expert] and I will be at DragonCon June 29-July 2. If you're interested in getting acquainted, let us know. And that goes for the rest of you, too! A Norton Message Board gathering [at DragonCon, WorldCon, etc.] would be very cool. Hth, Jerrie
