: : Well, I'll be running the Tolkien and Middle-earth track, so : : I doubt I'll have much time to run about the place. I did : : meet Ed Koch last year, and I suppose he'll be back this : : year.

: : But everyone is welcome to drop by the Tolkien and : : Middle-earth track and say, "Hi!" :)

: ED (ex-mayor Edward Irving Koch, pronounced Kotch)lives in NYC : and pretends to write Mysteries. You met me, Irvin Meyer : (proncounced Mayor Coach) Koch .

Sorry. I'd just read Ed McLuckie's message, I think. :)

: I should be at the Charlotte 2004 table at D*C again this : year. Someone tell me when and where the meet is and I'll : come. I'll also be at the Chicago Worldcon with time split : between At-con Treasury Staff, maybe a dealers' table, the : Charlotte 2004 table, and the Charlotte 2004 party suite. : Anyone interested in crash space or the like, and interested in : working a BIG party, with ... a few other Andre Norton fen ... : please email me.

How is the Charlotte bid going? I'm afraid my efforts to promote it from Xenite.Org don't seem to have worked very well. No one clicked on the banner I ran for it, as far as I could tell.

I think I'll try a text link on the Tolkien/Middle-earth Dragoncon page, when I next update it.

As for everyone getting together at Dragoncon, I suppose we could pick a time during the Tolkien track when I don't have to be there and maybe have lunch or something. Friday and Saturday will be the best days for me to do that, I think (though I haven't looked at the schedule as I write this).
