: I found the following at:
: http:home.unicom.net/~sfreader/Hof.htm
: "The Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame
was
: founded in 1996 by the Kansas City Science
Fiction
: and Fantasy Society and the J. Wayne and Elsie
M.
: Gunn Center for the study of science fiction at
the
: University of Kansas. The induction will take
place
: at the University of Kansas Alumni Center July
11,
: 1997.
: Andre Norton (1912) entered the field through
: children's science fiction and fantasy.
Although
: much of her work has been marketed to children
and
: young adults, its themes and complexity appeal
to a
: larger adult market. In 1984 she became the
only
: woman honored with the Nebula Grand Master Award

I am afraid the above is rather confusing. The
first paragraph refers to the nature of the award
that Michael noted earlier. The second paragraph
is the statement made about Andre Norton in
regards to the award which she received along with
Arthur C. Clarke.
Thanks
Richard
