This seems to me to be a problem with the structure of this board (at least as it appears on my machine). I'd rather have things show up in straight chronological order so I could easily tell what I had and hadn't read. When I read a posting, it turns from blue to red on my screen, but then seems to reset to blue after a month.

up this page, but I'm reluctant to do that right now. I'll try to experiment with some script changes on a test site in the next
