It's been quite a while since I'd read this book. You know, it really is quite well written once you get past the first part.I mean, for a NORTON book it's well written. There was a discussion about WITCH WORLD in the rec.crafts.textiles. group recently. Librarians recommend this book to people. It really does capture the imagination. The details that Norton tosses in are amazing. For instance, I never really noticed that Fulk had a pasture between his hold and the sea cliff. Two kinds of mounts were kept there: heavy warhorses and hill ponies used for hunting. These are the sort of things one notices when writing a glossary, I suppose. :) Michael
