: Aetheling : P.S. Another thing. Simon's children were able to think about the earstern border, because they were HIS children. Why then didn't Simon himself posess his ability? In response to the PS, I think Simon could think of the eastern border but chose not to comment on it. He was so tied to Estcarp when he arrived, I do not believe he gave the East a second thought. If he did think about the East, I'm sure he just assumed there was nothing threating there.
