In the December 1997 issue of Locus on page 74 appear two ads placed by Michael Martinez. One is Michael's Web-based Fandom site for fans of Tolkein, Andre Norton, Xena, Hercules and Robert E. Howard. The other is for the Andre Norton Message Board. Both are possibly the first ads for author web sites in Locus. They look well on the page.

The December issue of Locus also contains forthcoming books in the sf/fantasy field through September 1998.
Two Norton with collaborator books are listed. The first is "Clara's Song" (with Lyn McConchie) coming from Warner Aspect in July 1998. The second is "Revolutions in Time" with (Sherwood Smith) from Tor as a hardcover in September 1998.

From a Warner Aspect ad in the same December issue of Locus is the announcement for the New Year publication of the paperback edition of "The Warding of Witch World". Also the story "Wizard's World" by Andre Norton is included in a new paperback edited by Margaret Weis with the title "A Magic Lover's Treasury of the Fantastic".
