Sorry to hear college didn't go so well, but at leats you're still in. Let me share a (non-Norton) story with you from my own college days.

When I took English 101 for the second time, my professor, Dr. Bergeron, told us about the first day HE went to college.

He said all the freshmen were herded into the auditorium and the president of the college got up to give a speech. He ended the speech by telling the students to turn to the person on their right and introduce themselves. So they all spent a few minutes telling each other their names and then the president told them to introduce themselves to the person on their other side.

After the students had finished the second round of introductions the president said, "Now, in four months, one of the people you just met will not be here."

That's a 33% dropout rate in the first semester (or quarter).

I don't know if it still holds up, but when I went to technical school many years ago, I started an 18 month program as a member of a 65-student programming class. Six of us got our diplomas.
