Michael has covered most of the good Children's Andre Norton,
especially if you add the STAR KA'ATS books.I also suggest looking in your local book store. ESPECIALLY in the paper backs.
My favorite - is MOOG MOOG SPACE BARBER (brain like rusty screen - author name at home on the book)
I would look at both the oversize and Trade size books.
A seven year old, usually likes pictures. There are few Andre Norton books that are picture books
Unfortunately those are sadly dated. [Rogue Reynard]
Other authors that I like include Bruce Coville - who writes in the voice of a 10-12 year old
