I loved your post on Andre Norton's Message board. Since I have over 2000 books myself, and need badly to rearrange and get them into my book data base, I am very impressed that you got your books in order in one day! Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic indeed! (Although I think that it is very funny:0)Another good place to call is local college libraries. Often they have to get rid of books, or are given books they can't use, and have sales, or a place where you can go and look at the books. Just call and talk to the college librarian or someone in her/his office. I'm going to call around tomorrow and see what book sales I can find a "quisitive" coming on!
