: : Second. Do either of you see a connection between 'Breed To Come' and 'Catseye'? Are the sentient critters in both the same race?: To be blunt, No. The sentient critters in Catseye are gengineered cats, foxes and a kinkajou from a 47th Century ASF (we can discuss dating later) Terra which did not suffer the same ecocatastrophe as the Successor World in which the events of Breed to Come take place. : The world of Breed to Come is one in which formerly domesticated and/or wild animals have been affected by some mutagenic or teratogenic compound and have therefore evolved into a completely separate species from what we would immediately recognize. To me -- and this is a strictly personal interpretation -- Furtig's people are at a midpoint along the trail which leads from Sinbad (remember him?) to Lord Yolyos (see Android at Arms -- how's that for convoluted linkages?). : Respectfully, : Michael B. Caffrey : Stellae Nostrae Sunt! Interesting thought. Hmm, I'd always (personally) classed the post-holocaust stories (Sea Seige, No Night Without Stars, Star Man's Son) as a seperate group not directly connected to the space traveling Terra of the more direct SF novels. I also tend to put the "Time Traders" group in a seperate line and put "Star Gate" with the "Witch World" line. Any thoughts or comments? BTW, I'd love to see your time-line when it's ready. I'm goint to try that address, I think AOL was tring to go to a http header, that's what my address line was reading. I'll let you know what happens. And, yes, I wouldn't be the least supprised if it was AOL's fault. Thanks, Lynx
