You have just hit one of my points of difference to Maureen's timeline. I classify the "Final War" of each of the post-holocaust stories (incidentally, Star Guard and the Solar Queen books also qualify as "post-holocaust" stories) as the branch point where that specific side-road takes off from U.S. 101 (to go back to my "map" analogy).

The Time Traders books could be a different line to the "mainstream," but I feel it more appropriate to place them in the prime sequence -- otherwise, too many "later" references -- and assumptions on my part -- have no "foundation" on which to build.

As for classifying Star Gate with the Witch World line, I must admit that it is an interesting approach, and one that never occurred to me (nor, I suspect, to Maureen when she was putting her timeline together). Before I would be willing to comment further, I should like to know your reasoning for the association -- I have a suspicion of what it might be, but I hate to make unsubstantiated presumptions about other people's thought processes. I have to make too many unsubstantiatable presumptions about my own to be willing to take such liberties.

Actually, it's at a point where I am willing to pass it to a select few individuals willing (or crazy enough) to look it over and give me comments and criticism. But it is certainly not ready for general distribution.
