: : : I struck out at UMI: I searched their Thesis/Disertation list for the relevant title and author. I came up blank. : I suppose that if UCLA doesn't have a copy (and I checked the people incharge of the micro-fish, ans well as the real books) I cannot expect a 'service' to have a 1963 Thesis Irene, I'm going to give you the dubious benefit of my professional experience here. There is a second place to check at UCLA: the Southern Regional Library Facility. This is a massive archive of documents from all the UC facilities in Southern California, including both theses and dissertations. Whether they have a particular item or not, or even whether they have an adequate catalog, I do not know. And, of course, I don't have the contact information at hand. I will try to dig it out of my paper files and let you know. Respectfully, Michael B. Caffrey Stellae Nostrae Sunt!
