: Once, several years ago, Ruth Kyle had been working on a concordance. It had a title and a publisher (actually it worked it's way through two publishers). Eventually the project was abandoned after Ruth didn't seem anxious to add the books that she had left out. : I don't know if NESFA is still interested in publishing such a book, I also don't know if Ruth is interested in sharing. : Remember there is also a complete time line of the Witch World that has found a publisher. Maybe a concordance is a book who's time has come. Irene and Shirley, Yes, the time has come for a Grand Concordance of Andre Norton's books. I have been working on something of the sort, in a rather haphazard fashion, for several years now and have amassed several hundred KB of terms (personal names, places, planets, devices, phrases, etc.), the books in which they appear, and definitions, descriptions or explanations as appropriate. This data can be made available to anyone masochistic enough to want to pore over it. I have also indexed about twenty or so of the science fiction books, where I have been lucky enough to acquire or get long-term access to hardcover copies (First Editions/First Printings by preference, but some paperbacks), including the five Time Traders/Ross Murdock books, the first six Solar Queen stories (I haven't gotten around to A Mind For Trade yet), the first three Moonsinger books (I just got a First Edition of Dare to Go A'Hunting and am working on it at present), Star Rangers and Star Guard. This data, of course, is also up for grabs. If you're interested, let me know. Respectfully, Michael B. Caffrey Stellae Nostrae Sunt!
