In regards to "grading" of books, and descriptions, there's sometimes a lot of difference between what we (my husband and myself, who are collectively Booklynx) would describe as a "fine" book or a "fine" dustjacket and what we have several times purchased sight-unseen over the net from another dealer. Both times we were very unhappy and returned the book for a refund of both the cost and the return shipping. I would consider a fine book to be one that looks unread - no bending of pages, no spine creases, no soiling to boards or pages, binding very tight and solid. A fine dustjacket would be as-new - no rubbing, bumping, scuffing, clipping, or creases. A fine book could include a remainder mark, but this would be included in the description.
