I love hearing the stories of long lost books found! Of great deals, of "Mint signed hard to find editions". Thats the fun of chasing those dusty old antique stores or out in the middle of nowhere book stores. The Harder to find the more interesting the story. In fact what a good idea for the message board! Post a story of a lucky find, some of the best ones are just plain luck.
tim: A fanatical Norton friend of mine showed me this board and now I ghost this board a fair bit as I really like the information on Andre and her books. Everyone is pretty friendly and helpful to one another - it just seem a shame that a few have to be boring and shove into the faces of others how wonderful their collection is. We are all collecting, some of us are luckier than others. It's a bit petty to continually gloat in this manner - though I notice that most are too well natured to comment. : Neil
