This is a follow on to my suggestion that someone track down Karen. I did a fast web search and found only one hit: She was an award winner at Costume Con 1 in 1983. (I told you she'd been around for ages. I sorta remember her from circa 1971 WorldCon. Costumecon is www.costumecon.org and emailing members/officers from there should be a good start. There was no Karen Kuykendal in the white pages in the USA per Netscape/Excite/Infospace. She COULD be living with someone else and thus not show up.
