I have contacted Lyn McConchie, and she will be attending WorldCon in September 1999, to be held in Melbourne, Australia.

While I realize that most of you will not be attending, I will be making the trip.

As a group, we should figure out a way to let Lyn know how much we appreciate her writing. We need to start planning now.

I admit that I plan on bringing my two paper back books (KEY OF THE KEPLIAN and CIARA'S SONG), but don't think I'll have room in the suitcase for all of your copies. Maybe I can find some clever book plates - labels - or book marks with a theme?
[She has a cow, calf, piglet, hens, geese, sheep and a Ocicat named tiger.] From Andre, I understand that she lives on a sheep farm where she raises colored sheep (not politically correct; but this just means sheep that are not white, ie brown, black, and any shades in between).

I'll let Lyn know, by air-paper-mail, that I'll be buying her lunch/dinner/beer or whatever, and forcing her to read/sign stuff from her Web fans.
