: Is MS Norton going to get some of her old adventure novels reprinted and does she control her old Witch world novels? The reason I ask is that Baen is going to reprint some of James Schmitz novels and I think he might be interested in some of her books to.

These would be questions for Jack Byrne (jackbyrne@aol.com) who is Andre Norton's agent.

Sometimes reprints are prommised and don't seem to happen.
“Andre Norton’s first 12 W.W. novels will be republished by White Wolf in four volumes.” Locus Oct’95

In general, I don't think that even the old Norton Space Operas are the style of books Jim Baen has been publishing lately. Then again, I could be wrong. [He did publish CHICKS N' CHAINED MALES after all.]

Most of us know that you can still get most of the older Norton books. Especially those books which appeared in paper back. Try the Advanced Book Exchange and search for Author: Andre Norton and you will find several thousand books. Narrowing it down by title will give you books priced between $3 and $300.

If you are looking for those few rare Norton books that only appeared in hard cover (smaller print run) or those rare rare books that only appeared in paper - welcome to the club.

[Someone got there first for a first edition of BERTIE AND MAY - at $15...... It was probably a third printing that was posted wrong.]
