: aaahhh, dinner was very good, oh yeah, there sits a copy of CAROLINE by Andre Norton and Enid Cushing. If all the books had been shelved i would never have thought to look for it.: I have to admit it is not quite as nice as my Mint copy which is Inscribed, but it is pretty nice, has some moderate spine creases from reading. : I don't need two copies so out of the kindness of my heart I am going to just give it aw....whoops, must be indigestion or brain damage. What i meant was : I don't need two copies and every struggling bookseller needs to occasionally get lucky, so I will entertain any obscene offers for this gem. The more obscene the better. : The hunt for the books remains the most enjoyable aspect of this "collecting thing" best to all ed Paul here, Tacky, tacky, tacky. Who doesn't have a copy or two lying atound. You are right though. The hunt is the Thing. My vacation to St. Louis has included (so Far) a very Fine 1st edition Hardcover of Opal-Eyed Fan(fine wrapper) for $15,a fine Hardcover White Jade Fox ( in a fair condition wrapper) for $0.50 and a very good copy of Maid-At-Arms for $1.75.
