>(so Far) a very Fine 1st edition Hardcover of Opal-Eyed Fan(fine wrapper) for $15,a fine Hardcover White Jade Fox ( in a fair condition wrapper) for $0.50 Here's a lesson on what to call stuff. If we all call them the same things, then we will all know what we are holding, and buying. The piece of paper that wraps around a Hard cover book is the DUST JACKET. The piece of paper that covers a paper back is it's WRAPPER. This is important to know if you see someone offering Wrapper for MIRROR OF DESTINY, by Andre Norton Wrapper for paper edition POWER LINES, Del Rey Wrapper for paper edition TIGER BURNING BRIGHT, AvoNova Wrapper for QUAG KEEP and Wrapper for GARAN THE ETERNAL or if you see the notation:ELVENBLOOD: pre Publication in printed wraps. This is especially important for those few books that have dust jackets out of special material. In general, there are no Andre Norton books that were covered in glassine (heck, I cannot check the spelling), which looks a lot like waxed paper. There is at least one Norton book covered in a dust jacket that is "Wood Veneer from Japan" PS: Great find on that MAID-AT-ARMS!
