: Hi, I've sort of dropped out of things, but am back in the flow again. Since I last posted here I have been wandering my state, stopping in on used bookstores along the way. My collection has grown four-fold :) However, now I have a lot of reading to do.

: I still am wondering about the Iron Cage book. Was there ever a sequel?

I don't think so.

An interesting story about the title. When I was in the Air Force back in the early 60's, I used to watch movies on base for two bits a show.

They ran a lot of the old time movie serials before the main shows, a part a week or so.

When Andre wrote me that she was working on a novel called THE IRON CLAW, I wrote back about the Buster Crabbe serial I'd watched with the same name. So Andre changed her title. I wish that I hadn't mentioned it. IRON CLAW sounds much better to me.

: My most recent read was The Jargoon Pard. I could not believe
how that book immersed me. I read it in the time it took for my fiance to drive from the bookstore where we bought it (in the next town) back to our city.

: I think it is the part about changelings (which is why my first ever Norton read 'Judgement on Janus' grabbed me so) and roads not taken that really intrigues me. I have reread the Janus series recently, however, nothing can compare to that first read, when the imagination wakes up. I was 11 or 12 then and it was one of the first science fiction novels I had ever read.

THE LAST PLANET (THE STAR RANGERS) was my first Norton when I was 13 or 14.

: Also working on getting a little bit of my own work published, however it isn't quite ready, and requires much polishing. Will be checking in here every few days to see how you are all doing :) Glad to be back!
