: Browsing Bibliofind the other day, I came across a listing for Secret of the Lost Planet by Angus Mac Vicar. The bookseller, W.Fraser Sandercombe, claims that this is a pseudonym for Andre Norton. He mentioned that he learned this "fact" from a reference book guide(I forget the title) to classic British TV shows. I am sure the similarity in title to Secret Of The Lost Race caused the author of this guide to make this assumption. Just thought that I would alert the board to this oddity--PaulIn the fifties, Andre had SARGASSO OF SPACE, PLAGUE SHIP, and VOODOO PLANET published under the pen name of Andrew North. Bernard C Cronin, writing as Eric North, had THE ANT MEN published as a Winston Juvenile in 1955. Apparently some people got them confused. I saw at least one bookseller that listed Eric North as "ps, Andre Norton." --Rick Brooks
