: : 1955 Yankie Privateer : : 1970 Baleful Beasts and Eerie Creatures : : 1981 Maid at Arms (Enid Cushing) : : 1981 Star Ka'at and The Winged Warriors: There appear to be quite a few Out of Print Andre Norton books, which are not "mainstream SF&F" for one reason or another. Never mind the Star Ka'at books, those are better left to others. It is unlikely, under present market conditions, that they'll be reprinted anytime soon. : It is POSSIBLE ... : < text removed> : But it is practical. And is it really worth doing for these 4 specific books. I agree on reprinting YANKEE PRIVATEER, and possibly Jack Byrne can work on this one. [Similar to what was done with Sneeze on Sunday.] BALEFUL BEASTS has some very scary stories, but maybe not with todays standards. BEASTS has never been printed in paper. STAR KA'ATS AND THE WINGED WARRIORS is the weakest of the 4 STAR KA'AT books, and might warrant a paper edition (having the cachet of having a ISBN number but never having been printed). However, MAID AT ARMS is just a curiosity and should not be re-printed. Andre did a favor for Enid Cushing and edited this book. Frankly, the story isn't very probable. [Wild girl and esthetic twin brother grow up in England. Brother is forced to go into army, being sent to Canada. On the boat over the brother is sea sick and the twins switch places. The sister takes the officer position & the brother, dressing in skirts, lives with a family. The switch is NOT NOTICED by the other officers or family. Their family neighbor follows the sister over to Canada. A horse race accident forces the Family neighbor to save the day.]
