I have the utmost respect for the serious collectors like Ms Harrison, Mr Goldin (Hi Joe) and others who post to this board. And stand decidedly in awe of you all. I hope you don't think it presumptuous of me to attempt an apologia of collecting, as I remain what Jack Zirkle recently called a "small c" collector. But the thread did prompt me to think about how collecting fits in with a love of Ms Norton's writings. Thanks, Ms Adkins, for the kind words. But do people really want a round of "what's my favorite"?
